On the 4th day of Christmas we remember the Holy Innocents, the babies murdered by Herod’s decree of jealousy about the new born King of kings. The decree that made the Holy Family flee as refugees to Egypt.
God our Father, we pray that in Your great mercy and grace You welcome all the Innocent into Your Kingdom to be with You and Jesus. We ask, through the intercession of Mary, our most Holy and Blessed Virgin Mother, and St. Joseph, Christ’s earthly father, that those suffer the loss of one of Your tiny miracles may find comfort under Your wings of strength and hope. May we all be filled with the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit to be opened to see and know Your love so that we may share Your love with all.
Amen.
